it got so hot tom and wang decided to take off their shirts to ride the tandem bicycle

then we decided to go to the beach so we rode down the big hill. those are mountains in the distance.

part of the experience involved “basting” people’s mouth buckets. I “basted” my red plastic cup, which I then drank normally. to each their own…

the names were written down and then ripped into pieces and placed in a bucket

at the idea of putting everything into buckets, Page reacted as such

I’m pretty sure that Dave was having conflicting feelings between shooting a toy dart gun and the inevitable remorse that would follow if he were to accidentally knock over a can of premium rainier beer

Wang gave us his wok for the morning after party that was to come

Nick didn’t bring a backpack, but he thought he could wedge the wok between his head and his helmet

so he had to carry it down the street

I decided to make some bean dip since my friends have annoying dietary restrictions (just kidding) and it happens to be A) vegan B) lactose free and C) gluten free

I put 4 jalapenos in it, but removed the seeds from 3 of them. Elissa managed to get lots of pieces with seeds because she is unfortunate and down on life.

I also made some bread for the cheese.

Wang showed up early and surprised me while I was doing my pilates workout.

Apparently Tom and Jenelle having matching helmets now. Things are getting weird.

Here is Andrea and the food. I decided to cut up carrots and celery last minute in case anyone was still clinging to their New Years resolutions.

I made sure everyone studied the cue sheets.

A premature celebration

There was some pretty intense moss on the trees around Cougar Mountain.

We also totally found this crazy bench with this crazy life lesson on it

And here was one of the most pathetic waterfalls that I’ve ever seen in my life. For one reason or another, it was listed on the trail map as something to see, and there was even a little trail going to it.
